This selection guide was designed to help you find a suitable mounting hardware for your transformer requirement. Unless you tell us otherwise, you will always receive our standard hardware set of one steel washer and two rubber pads, except for transformers over 15 lbs. (7 kg). When weight is over 15 lbs. (7 kg), epoxy potted center is recommended for horizontal mounting.

For vertical mounting of large size transformers with outside diameter not exceeding 10 inches (250 mm), the L-Bracket or the Omega bracket is available. Please consult the factory concerning vertical mounting of transformers with diameters larger than 10 inches (250 mm).

Enclosures

If needed, we can provide the transformers mounted inside an enclosure We offer designs such as the IsoBox and Nema type boxes, which can be furnished with various options, such as circuit breakers, power cords, filters and receptacles. ”Build to print” is always welcome.

Caution - If you choose to apply your own mounting solution, remember that it is important that our transformer be mounted in such a way that the mounting screw and the metal chassis will not form a closed loop through the center and thereby create a shorted turn on the transformer.
